Aloe is also one of the easier plants to maintain. Make sure your plant gets 2-3 hours of sun per day, indoors it will need even more light.

This plant is great for beginners to try out plant care, but also offers a chance for people to develop an in-depth hobby. The more time and guidance you give to the small tree’s growth, the more interesting it becomes. 

  • African Violets: If you want a cute plant, African Violets are the way to go. These pretty houseplants have blue, purple, or white flowers amidst fuzzy leaves. Make sure to use low, indirect light and keep the soil moist but not wet.
